Description

Objectives of the course (preferably expressed in terms of learning outcomes and competences An introduction to the past present and future of the Greek Fauna. (Mainly terrestrial).

Course contents: Labs: 1st. The terrestrial molluscs, 2nd. The arachnids, 3rd. Crustaceans and myriapods, 4th. Insects, 5th. Insects, 6th. Amphibians and reptiles, 7th. Birds, 8th. Mammals.

Excursion: 4days excursion to the most interesting ecosystems, for their animal biodiversity, of the Greek mainland.
