Course contents: The science and history of Biogeography. The environmental and historical setting. Patterns and processes. (Speciation and extinction, Dispersal, Endemism, provincialism and disjunction. Island Biogeography. Species diversity.) Biogeography and conservation. The Biogeography of the Greek region.
